To protect our environment and health Liss Ltd. uses the ISO 14001 environmental management system, just as the HACCP method. ISO 14001 is a management system that empowers an organization to address the impact on the environment of its activities, services, products and people, and to take steps to identify significant aspects, and implement environmental management programs to control and improve them.

Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) is a systematic method using seven principles for analyzing a food process and determining possible biological, chemical, and physical hazards within that process. HACCP designates the critical control points necessary to eliminate or minimize hazards, and manage the prevention of food safety defects during all stages of food production and service.

TUV stands for the German "Technischer Ueberwachungsverein" and is an independent technical service organisation. It provides consultancy, inspections, tests and expert opinions, as well as certification and training to ensure reliability, safety, quality, environmental protection and cost effectiveness. The TUV carefully checked all certified LISS products and also inspects all respective production lines and quality control procedures. For example LISS Cream Chargers and LISS Cream Whippers have been checked by the TUV against the DIN 32 615, which is one of the strictest world standards for such pressure vessels.

NSF International, The Public Health and Safety Company is an independent non-profit organisation, which is providing product certification, standards development, education and risk management for public health and safety. NSF certified LISS products must be easy to clean and the materials used have to be in conformity with the applicable international regulations for food-processing-equipment.
